About Me

I direct the general population nutrition and weight loss program as the Wellness Director at The Diet Doc and Perfect Peaking.  Licensed in Mental Health Counseling and educated in exercise physiology, nutrition, and fitness, I guide my clients toward optimal health and wellness, impacting every facet of their lives. I certifications as a personal trainer, lifestyle and weight management consultant, health coach, and am an International Society of Sports Nutrition clinician.

I direct the Mental Edge program as part of the Diet Doc and Perfect Peaking with Dr. Joe Klemczewski, tailoring mental peaking and mindset strategies for optimal living!
I began resistance training in high school, my passion for exercise taking me to an undergraduate degree in exercise physiology, followed by my first bodybuilding competition at the age of 25. Enamored by the sport and the changes I witnessed in my physique, I excelled and earned professional status in bodybuilding, figure, and fit body. I have since won the Pro Mid-America and Pro American Cup Championships and was the World champion runner up in 2009 and 2011.
After earning my Masters degree in Community Counseling, I worked as an in-home family therapist specializing in cognitive-behavioral therapy and adolescent treatment and led a Multi-systemic Therapy team. Prior to assuming my directorship at The Diet Doc, I started a wellness company in Colorado. I am currently completing my PhD in Health Psychology and Behavioral Medicine.
I’m a contributing author and managing editor for Alpha magazine, advisory board member and author for Oxygen Women’s Fitness, and contributing author for Evansville Living and featured columnist in fitness magazines including Natural Bodybuilding and Fitness, Best Body, and Naturally Fit. I implement research-based, sustainable programming that gives my clients the benefit of a multi-dimensional approach to permanent success.
